Father Egbert Highbranch is a talented toy maker and dreams of opening his own toy store one day. He also enjoys collecting vintage antiques and is always on the lookout for the next piece for his collection; although his wife feels perhaps their house has reached its limit for antiques and Egbert may need to start ‘curating’ his collection before they run out of space!

Mother Olive Highbranch has many hobbies and is always busy as she can never decide which one to do next. She is a fantastic home baker and is known throughout Sylvania for her signature Pastry Cream Puffs. Olive is always sharing her tasty bakes with friends and neighbours, and as a result is always welcome at coffee mornings and tea parties.

Baby brother Bran Highbranch is obsessed with taking pictures and carries his beloved camera everywhere he goes. His poor family cannot move a muscle without him calling for them to ‘freeze’, ‘hold it right there’, or ‘say cheese!’ Despite having to stop and pose at any given moment, Bran’s mother, Olive, thinks that he has a good eye and perhaps will grow up to be Sylvania’s next professional photographer.

Baby sister Brie Highbranch loves to look at the world in great detail. She takes her trusty binoculars everywhere she goes and with her long neck she always has an excellent view of everything that is going on in the village. Her parents are currently trying to teach her about privacy and how it isn’t polite for Brie to use her binoculars to see what their neighbours are having for tea!
